Nic Adams

Before joining the Washington Office, Nic served as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and advised several members of Congress on intelligence, defense, foreign affairs, and technology issues. 

In addition to conducting congressional oversight, Nic has drafted legislation focused on emerging technology, military modernization, and preserving America's edge in the era of strategic competition. 

Prior to his time on the Hill, Nic was an intelligence officer in the United States Army, with the majority of his career in special operations. He deployed several times to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and to the Middle East in the Global War on Terror.  

After ten years on active duty, Nic transitioned to the Army Reserve, where he continues to serve. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from Boise State University, and a Master of International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.
