"Whether testifying in the U.S. Congress, teaching special operations leaders and families about leadership and flourishing, or pushing a stroller of kids at a record breaking pace, KaLea is ready to embrace the challenge and share honest insights!"
KaLea Lehman is the Executive Director and Founder of the Military Special Operations Family Collaborative (MSOFC).
KaLea grew up in rural Missouri where she embraced the spirit of the "Show Me" state and took her homegrown spirit to Washington, D.C. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The George Washington University, but first KaLea embraced military life and married her husband (of nearly 20 years now). In 2018, she earned her Master of Education from Vanderbilt University, and founded MSOFC to address health, wellness, and performance challenges in the special operations community.
KaLea has been a longtime advocate for health education, research, and policy, tackling topics on rare disease research and care, innovations, flourishing in special operations, and the importance of collaborating on hard problems and policy.
Whether testifying in the U.S. Congress, teaching special operations leaders and families about leadership and flourishing, or pushing a stroller of kids at a record breaking pace, KaLea is ready to embrace the challenge and share honest insights.
KaLea and her husband have seven children, and her favorite pastime is exploring new frontiers with her family.
