About Our Name
Liberty Speaks name and pup in the logo is in memory of our beloved labradoodle, Liberty Belle.
Additionally, as a former Green Beret, Co-Founder Herb Thompson, has devoted his career to American Liberty preservation efforts.
Lastly, being a branding consulting agency with a focus on external communications and public relations, the later portion of the name was seemingly appropriate. We feel a few of our most coveted liberties are the ability to speak and learn.
Meet the Co-Founders
Liberty Speaks was founded by Herb and Corrie Thompson two mission-driven leaders with decades of experience in leadership, communications, and growth strategy.
Herb is a retired Green Beret and U.S. Army Drill Sergeant of the Year, the only person in Army history to earn both honors. He’s a Cornell MBA, award-winning author, and global keynote speaker known for inspiring and developing high-performing teams worldwide.
Corrie is a seasoned brand and growth consultant with over 20 years of experience in speaker management, content strategy, and executive development. She holds multiple technical and project management certifications and is passionate about empowering talent.
After meeting through a military transition project, they combined their expertise to launch Liberty Speaks, a platform to support leaders and speakers through coaching, branding, and public relations.
Together, they help others own their journey and amplify their impact!
